COMMUNITY SERVICE – DUNK YOUR KICKS FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER (MAY 31 – JUNE 9
Send in your old sneakers (in pairs, tied or rubber-banded together) to help raise funds to support pediatric cancer research and treatment. No cleats, no holes in sole, no tears. EVAN WELCH – NIGHT AT THE PHILLIES
It has become an annual tradition for the Moorestown community…a night of fun, remembrance and support. Moorestown’s Night At the Phillies will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Proceeds from ticket sales will support The Evan Welch Scholarship, which is awarded to a graduating Moorestown High School senior. The scholarship was created in memory of Moorestown High School student, Evan Welch, whose life was claimed in a drunk-driver accident in December 2007. This Night At The Phillies event not only supports this valuable scholarship, it provides the Moorestown community an opportunity to gather together in honor of Evan, to celebrate his life and to share ongoing support with his family and friends.

Home and School is great organization that is inclusive of everyone here at South Valley. It is a great way for you to show your kids that you are active in our school and that school is important. MOOREKIDS TEEN LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE (TLC) – APPLY NOW!
Calling all current 8th graders and high school students! MooreKids is seeking strong applicants for our Teen Leadership Committee (TLC). TLC members will develop leadership skills and promote volunteerism by helping Moorestown children from financially struggling and underserved families. TLC members will plan and promote a fundraising event, communicate with MooreKids Board members, MTPS staff and Moorestown community, help develop activities, and further the mission of MooreKids. This is a great leadership and community service opportunity for students eager to get involved and give back.
