The MHS Madrigals are Semi-Finalists and need your support!
On Tuesday, December 4, 2018, Moorestown High School – Madrigals (“Up On The Housetop”) will be matched against Williamstown High School – Chamber and Germantown Friends School – GFS Choir in the B101.1 More FM Christmas Choir Competition!! Each school will have their entries played on-air on the Station between 6:00am and 7:00am. After the last Semi-Finalist’s entry has aired on the Station on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, the three (3) Semi-Finalists will have their school names posted on the Station’s website at www.morefmphilly.com for listener voting until 9:00pm (ET) on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. There is no limit on the number of votes per listener.

MHS HOME & SCHOOL MEETING, DECEMBER 12, 9;30 AM
Join us for the next Home & School Meeting. Topics include: Meet your principal! Come meet grade level principals Mr. Williams and Mr. McGough and learn about their roles; we will also be sharing a preview of possible vaping education posters for students for your feedback.
MHS ANNUAL HOLIDAY COOKIE EXCHANGE DONATIONS NEEDED

FOURTH GRADE BINGO PARTY! FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2018, 3-4PM
Mark your calendars for this fun event for 4th graders! Bingo will take place on December 7th in the UES cafeteria from 3-4PM. ALL STUDENTS NEED TO RSVP IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS EVENT! BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
With the holidays approaching, don’t forget to clip the Box Tops for Education logos in products that you use every day. Send any clipped Box Tops into school with your child or drop off in the collection box by the main office. For more details contact Cheryl Roberts: firstname.lastname@example.org
MITTEN TREE DONATIONS
The Mitten Tree will be up in the foyer beginning Monday, December 3rd. We are also collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots Foundation. The collection location for both clothing and toys is in the Baker Lobby. Students are welcome to make a donation anytime throughout the month of December.
We are also collecting the following children’s items for those in need in our community: Underwear (sizes 2t-Young Adult), Socks (all Sizes), winter hats/mittens/scarves. Sizes can range from infant-teen. All items are donated to Oaks Integrated Care. Contact Knikkisoto@gmail.com with any questions.
BINGO NIGHT, DECEMBER 6, 6 PM
Thursday, December 6th is Family Bingo Night from 6:00-7:30 pm. Students are encouraged to bring a donation to the Mitten Tree or Toys for Tots for admission. Bingo night is always a fun night for all!
MOOREKIDS HOLIDAY PROGRAM
This holiday season, please sponsor a child through MooreKids and make a difference that will last throughout the year. We fund Moorestown children to participate in enrichment activities including music, art, sports, summer camp and theater programs. Go to www.moorekids.org to make your tax-deductible donation.
SpEAC stands for the Special Education Advocacy Council. We are parent-run organization that provides a forum to discuss important challenges facing our children in the schools and community, and an off-board committee of Home & School. SpEAC’s mission is to positively impact the education of all students, with an emphasis on those students needing or receiving special education services. If your child has an IEP or a 504 Plan, you should be involved! Please join us at one of our monthly meetings to learn more. Find the full schedule of SpEAC meetings on our website.
