SAVE THE DATE: THE MOORESTOWN MAGIC VS. THE HARLEM WIZARDS FAMILY FUN EVENT
The Harlem Wizards are returning to town to play the Fabulous Moorestown Magic Team (Moorestown Public School Teachers and Staff) on Friday February 10, 2017 at the Moorestown MAC Center.  Tickets go on sale December 27th at MoorestownHSStore.com There is a limited number of Courtside/VIP Seats available, Reserved and General Admission.  For more information or to be a corporate sponsor of this event contact Sue Bielawski at ericsueb@comcast.net.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! MOORESTOWN MAGIC VS. THE HARLEM WIZARDS FAMILY FUN EVENT
Volunteers are needed to help make this special event a success.  We are looking for assistance in a variety of areas on game night, Friday February 10, 2017.  Community Service Hours are available for High School Volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering, 4 hour shifts are available.  Please contact Sue Bielawski at ericsueb@comcast.net

MHS STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON – JANUARY 27th

COTILLION TICKETS ON SALE THIS WEEK!   DEADLINE– JANUARY 27th
Freshmen and Sophomore Class Cotillion is Friday, Feb. 3rd from 7-10pm.  The event features dinner, dancing, photobooth and more!   Tickets are $35 and on sale until Jan. 27th.  Questions?   etodd@mtps.com

SNACKS FOR MID-TERMS NEEDED
The Class of 2017 will be selling snacks and drinks in between mid-terms as a fundraiser.  They are looking for donations of snacks and drinks to sell.  All donations should be sent in by Tuesday January 24th.  Please click here  to sign up. If you have any questions please contact Terry Testa.

 

WAMS NEWS

WAMS YEARBOOK SALE
WAMS Yearbooks will be on sale again from Tuesday, January 31st – Thursday, February 2nd during the student lunches.  The cost is $50 payable in cash or check made out to MTPS.  Students must bring their money to lunch with them and turn it in to one of the Yearbook representatives.  Students who have not yet ordered a Yearbook will receive notices on Monday, January 30th.  Yearbooks will be on sale one last time in March. UES HOME & SCHOOL MTG. FRIDAY 1/20

5TH GRADE CARNIVAL FRIDAY, 1/27
Calling all 5th graders! Come join us for an afternoon of games and excitement! Dancing, DJ, gaga and loads of games with your friends. HOME & SCHOOL MEETING – JANUARY 18, 2:30 – PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGE
The next Baker Home & School meeting will be on January 18 at 2:30 pm. Representatives from the district and school administration will be attending.

 

 

ROBERTS NEWS

H&S MEETING – JANUARY 19, 9:30 am
Please join us this Thursday the 19th at 9:30 in the media center for our first Home & School meeting of the New Year!!! Come hear about what is going on in the district and all the fun things we have going at Roberts in the coming months! Coffee and donuts will be served and small children are always welcome!  Hope to see you there!

ART GOES TO SCHOOL PLANNING MEETINGS THIS WEEK
Art Goes to School: Planning meetings will be held at Michele Orr’s house, 29 Woodlane Drive, on Wednesday, January 11th at 7:30 p.m. and also Thursday, January 12th at 9 a.m. The prints will be on display to view and we will discuss various crafts ideas. The different craft materials will also be on display for planning purposes. .If you have any questions or concerns please contact Michele

SOUTH VALLEY NEWS

SV BOOK SWAP
Book Swap is February 2nd-3rd this year! Please donate gently-used children’s books K-3rd grade level to this event. At Book Swap, every student comes home with a book that they get to choose. A labeled box for donated books is in the front lobby or place donated books in your child’s backpack. For info, contact Tammy.  We are also looking for volunteers to help with the event! If you’d like to volunteer to help sort and set up on February 1st or help students choose their books on February 2nd or 3rd, please sign up here.

PACE MEETING THURS., 01/19/17, 12:00pm, MHS STAR CENTER
Please join PACE for a light lunch and meeting on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 12PM in the MHS Star Center. PACE is the Partnership for Acceleration, Challenge, and Enrichment, an advisory committee dedicated to the advocacy, and support of gifted and talented students and their families.  For more info contact Christine Woltjen .

PACE MOORESTOWN SCIENCE FAIR
PACE presents the Moorestown Science Fair 2017! The Science Night and Science Fair will be held on February 21 and April 4. Please see this flyer for more details.

FOOD PANTRY
The Live Civilly/Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry (LCMMFP) is a confidential, welcoming resource for anyone seeking food assistance.  The LCMMFP is open the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 12:00-2:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM and is located at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church at 318 Chester Avenue.  For information contact Live Civilly at contact@livecivilly.org or 856-313-9853.
