HOME & SCHOOL DISTRICT SLATE
We are seeking volunteers for the H&S District Slate – this is your chance to get involved and make a difference to your child’s school and the overall Moorestown school community. Some positions are for 2 years, and some are for one year only – and with all of the positions we will be able to provide detailed on-boarding notes and help to make sure that you are successful in your new role. STEM EVENT – LEGO NIGHT, MARCH 27th
An opportunity for children K through 6 to have fun with LEGOs and develop their interest in STEM! On March 27th from 5:00-7:30 pm, the MHS robotics team, the Combustible Lemons, will host a future-themed LEGO building event for young students in Moorestown at Moorestown Upper Elementary School. MIKE PILENZA & NEIL ROSA SCHOLARSHIP BEEF & BEER, MARCH 24
This event is being held to create a scholarship in the name of two of Moorestown’s most loved Athletic Directors, Mike Pilenza and Neil Rosa. There will be food, drinks, a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles, and a silent auction. Come attend a fun filled night and donate to a new scholarship in honor of our beloved Athletic Directors. IT’S BOOK FAIR TIME! COME, SIT, STAY! READ A GREAT TALE!
Our PAWS FOR BOOKS Book Fair is the week after Spring Break, Monday, April 9th through Friday, April 13th. There are many opportunities to volunteer before and during the Book Fair! Please check out our Book Fair Website, for complete information, including the class schedule Browsing/Buying Times…just click on the “Sign Up” Button next to “We’re Looking for Volunteers!” Please consider volunteering to help decorate on Tuesday, March 27th from 9am-12pm, set up the books on Wednesday, March 28th from 9am-11am, or break down the fair on Friday, April 13th from 12-3pm. You may email Janice Caccuro with any questions. Food and Supply Donations are also needed for the Teacher Preview Party on Wednesday, March 28th. GRAND Breakfast Event on Tuesday, April 10 from 7:45am to 8:30am. Children are encouraged to bring Grandparents, Relatives, Aunts and Uncles, Neighbors or Devoted Caregivers to join in the Book Fair fun!
LITERACY NIGHT on Thursday, April 12 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. The Baker staff will be reading stories, there will be a craft and games, and a cash only dinner will be served in the Cafeteria.

SPRING BOOK FAIR
The Spring “Paws for Reading” Book Fair is coming April 9th-13th (right after Spring Break)! This year, we will be introducing an easy, cash-free E-Wallet payment system! It will be available for set up March 26th, click here for link. As always, we will be looking for volunteers to help with the Book Fair, so keep an eye out in future emails for our Sign-Up Genius.
SAVE THE DATE – SPRING FLING DANCE
Our 2nd annual H&S Spring Fling Dance for 2nd and 3rd graders with be held on Friday, April 20! Tickets are $15 per couple and will go on sale soon through the H&S website. Young men may be escorted by their mother, grandmother, aunt or special person. Young ladies may be escorted by their father, grandfather, uncle or special person. Escorts must be 18 years or older. The young men’s dance will be from 6-7:30pm and the young ladies’ will follow from 8-9:30pm. Both dances will be held at the UES. Any questions please email email@example.com
