MEET THE BOARD OF EDUCATION CANDIDATES NIGHT – MONDAY, OCT. 29TH 7:30PM
On October 29, 2018 there will be a Board of Education Meet the Candidates event at 7:30 pm in the WAMS Media Center. This event is facilitated and moderated entirely by the League of Women Voters. It is a terrific opportunity for members of the community to ask questions of the BOE Candidates. This year there are three open positions on the BOE and four candidates running. Generally, the League allows audience members to ask questions themselves or they can write questions down which will be chosen and asked by the League. If you have any questions, please contact the event Legislative Chair Kristin Lees. Please see the flyer for additional details.

MOORESTOWN H&S GIFTWRAP & GIFTS SALE ENDS OCTOBER 12!

STAFF APPRECIATION BREAKFAST – WEDS. OCT 10TH
Home and School is happy to show our sincere appreciation to the wonderful teachers and staff at the High School. We will be hosting a breakfast on Wednesday, October 10th from 7:30 am – 9:30 am. Your donation and/or time is greatly appreciated. Nonperishable items, INCLUDING PERKINS GIFT CARDS are requested to be dropped at Kathy Coffey’s house on or before Monday, October 8th. BOOSTERTHON – STARTING THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10
Boosterthon is coming to the UES!!! Get ready, everyone! Home and School’s most exciting fundraiser is back and this time, it’s the UES’s turn. The program will start with a Pep Rally on October 17 and end with a Fun Run for the kids on Friday, October 26. Students will collect pledges per lap. ENCHANTED FOREST BOOK FAIR – OCTOBER 15 THROUGH OCTOBER 19
Come and join us at our Enchanted Forest Book Fair! We will be offering a fantastic selection of books for purchase and all proceeds help to raise money for our schools. The fair is open during school hours with an additional shopping night on Thursday, October 18th from 5-8PM. There are many ways to participate in this fun event, please see links below. BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Grab your scissors! A great way to help our school district earn money is by clipping the Box Tops for Education logos in products that you might use every day. The school receives 10 cents for each Box Top clipped. Send any clipped Box Tops into school with your child or drop off in the collection box by the main office. MOOREKIDS 5th ANNUAL HALLOWEEN COSTUME SWAP
10/13 at the Moorestown Library (9:00-1:00) Donate your child’s old costume and/or pick up a “new” one. Drop off costumes at the library now or bring them on the 13th. SpEAC stands for the Special Education Advocacy Council. We are parent-run organization that provides a forum to discuss important challenges facing our children in the schools and community, and an off-board committee of Home & School. SpEAC’s mission is to positively impact the education of all students, with an emphasis on those students needing or receiving special education services.
