MEET THE BOARD OF EDUCATION CANDIDATES NIGHT – MONDAY, OCT. 29TH 7:30PM
On October 29, 2018 there will be a Board of Education Meet the Candidates event at 7:30 pm in the WAMS Media Center. This event is facilitated and moderated entirely by the League of Women Voters. It is a terrific opportunity for members of the community to ask questions of the BOE Candidates. This year there are three open positions on the BOE and four candidates running. Generally, the League allows audience members to ask questions themselves or they can write questions down which will be chosen and asked by the League. If you have any questions, please contact the event Legislative Chair Kristin Lees. Please see the flyer for additional details.

ENCHANTED FOREST BOOK FAIR – OCTOBER 15 THROUGH OCTOBER 19
Come and join us Monday October 15th -Friday October19th for the UES book fair! We will be offering a fantastic selection of books for your children to select, also helping to raise money for the UES. Community Service Halloween Candy Collection
Searching for things to do with all that left over Halloween Candy? Please consider donating it to UES Community Service Halloween Candy Collection in which all left over treats will be given to Soldiers’ Angels, a non-profit agency in which will send the goodies to our men and women serving in our U.S. Armed Forces. The collection will begin on November 1st through November 7th. Bins will be placed in the entrance way and lobby of UES. Thank you for donating to this wonderful cause!
BOOSTERTHON – PEP RALLY OCTOBER 17
Boosterthon is here!!! The program will start with a Pep Rally on October 17 and end with a Fun Run for the kids on Friday, October 26. Students will collect pledges per lap. Please see the FAQS or contact Jaclyn Barnes email@example.com with questions.
SOUTH VALLEY NEWS
The annual Halloween parade at South Valley will be held Wednesday, October 31st at 9am. Join us on the lawn of South Valley prior to the parade for some coffee and donuts! Please sign up here to donate a box of joe or donuts to the event!
HALLOWEEN CANDY COLLECTION
Please send in all your extra Halloween candy starting Thursday, November 1 through Thursday, November 8th. Collection boxes will be in the Lobby at South Valley. All candy will be donated to Soldiers Angels.

Moorstown SpEAC (Special Education Advocacy Council) will be holding an evening meeting this Thursday, Oct 18th at 6:30pm at the Moorestown Community House, Board Room (2nd Floor). These meetings are your opportunity to speak with the Director of Special Education, the K-12 Supervisors and a BOE representative in a small group setting. Join us and let your voice be heard!
