COLLEGE PLANNING PANEL, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22ND, 6:30PM
Representatives from various large, public universities to small, private colleges will be on the panel. Topics covered include: standardized testing, college visits, the college application, student essays and more. All grades are welcome to attend.

PETER VAN BUSKIRK “THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS GAME” :  TUESDAY, MARCH 27TH 6:30PM
Don’t miss the chance to understand the college planning and admissions processes.  Peter Van Buskirk of Best College Fit only visits us once every three years.  Join us in the MHS auditorium as he presents The Admission Game.  Peter’s vast experience in the world of higher education is translated into useful information about the college planning and admissions processes.  This 2-hour program is for students of all grades and their parents.  Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.

SENIOR PARENTS:  MANDATORY DISNEY MEETING TUESDAY, MARCH 28TH AT 6:30PM
The mandatory Senior/Parent Disney meeting is on Tuesday, March 26th at 6:30 in the MHS auditorium.

PROJECT GRADUATION
As many of you are aware, Project Graduation is only a few months away.  It is a fabulous all-night graduation celebration, where our seniors are entertained to keep them safe, and alcohol and drug free.  We can’t accomplish our goals without your support.  Please consider making a donation to our graduates.  You can do so through our website:  www.mhsprojectgraduation.com
Lawn Signs:  To congratulate your senior, lawn signs are available at the website above as well.  If you don’t have a senior, but would still like to purchase a lawn sign to congratulate the Class of 2017, go to the website above and put the word “BLANK” in for the name.

Dinner Raffle:  Another way to support our graduates is to purchase a dinner raffle.  Details are available at the above website.

UES NEWS

UES BOOK FAIR – VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS NEEDED
Get ready for s’more fun with books!  The Happy Camper Book Fair is coming April 3 – April 7.  There are many opportunities to volunteer to help make it a success. Sign up here UES Spring Book Fair – Volunteer… to help with decorations, set up, break down, donations and everything in between!  (The class schedule can be viewed through a link provided on the volunteer sign up.) Literacy Night is Thursday, April 6th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.  The fair will be open during school hours the rest of the week (M-Th 8:00am – 3:00pm; F 8:00am – noon). SAVE THE DATE: BAKER BOOK FAIR
It’s time for our Spring Book Fair, “S’more Fun With Books!”. The book fair will be held from Monday March 27th- Friday March 31st. The GRAND breakfast will be Tuesday March 28th.  Literacy Night will be held on March 30th. Volunteer here to help with your child’s class. Sign up here to donate to the Grand Breakfast.

SPRING FLING – TICKETS ARE LIMITED!
The 2nd and 3rd Grade Spring Fling Dance tickets are now on sale at moorestownhsstore.com. Tickets are $15 per couple. The Spring Fling will be held on April 7th. Young ladies may be escorted by their father, grandfather, uncle or special person. Young men may be escorted by their mother, grandmother, aunt or special person. The young ladies’ dance will be from 6-7:30 and the young men’s dance will be 8-9:30. Both dances will be held at the UES.  If you are interested in donating food for the event please go here. BAKER ROUND TABLE
Come join us for our first annual Baker Round Table on April 5th at 11:45.  Mrs.  Rowe will be joining us too!  Come to learn about home and school committee positions and help brainstorm to help make Baker Home and School better.  A light lunch and babysitting will be available.  If you would like to utilize the babysitting service please let us know at the time of RSVP.   We can only accept the first 25 who respond.  Please RSVP to dmuhic@verizon.net by April 1.

BINGO NIGHT!
Thursday, March 23rd from 6:30-7:30pm at the South Valley Cafeteria.  Bring the whole family!  Prizes, dessert, and family fun for all!  Cost of admission – a food donation for the local food pantry.  RSVP and sign up to volunteer or donate dessert/drink here.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT

FOOD PANTRY
The Live Civilly/Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry (LCMMFP) is a confidential, welcoming resource for anyone seeking food assistance.  The LCMMFP is open the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 12:00-2:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM and is located at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church at 318 Chester Avenue.  For information contact Live Civilly at contact@livecivilly.org or 856-313-9853.
