HIGH SCHOOL HOME & SCHOOL FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR – SEPTEMBER 11

Please join us for the first High School Home & School Meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 11th at 9:30 am in the Media Center. The Agenda will feature these speakers-Superintendent-Scott McCartney, Principal-Drew Seibel, and Guidance Supervisor-Kat D’Ambra. If you cannot attend-the detailed minutes from the meeting will be available on the Moorestown Home & School website next week. Our next H&S meeting will be in the evening – October 16th at 7pm.  We hope to see you there!

MooreKids, A New Jersey Non-profit is accepting applications for Teen Volunteers. BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTS 9/10 and 9/11

When you are at the UES for Back to School night, make sure to stop by the H&S apparel table and check out all the new Moorestown gear.  Items will be available for purchase and cash/checks are appreciated.

 

FIRST H&S MEETING – FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH AT 9:30AM IN THE UES CAFETERIA

Please join us at our first H&S Meeting! Come and meet your UES H&S representatives, say hello to old friends and make some new ones as we welcome our new Tiger parents! ROOM PARENTS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

BAKER NEWS

Hello Baker families! My name is Maureen van der Berg and I will be the Chair of Home & School for Baker for the 2019-2020 school year. I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the new families that have children entering Baker this year and of course a big “Welcome Back” for all our existing Baker Bears. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 18th at 9:30 am in the Baker cafeteria.  I hope you can join us to hear about what is happening at Baker and ways that you can volunteer and get involved.  We meet once a month throughout the year and encourage you to attend if possible. FALL BOOK FAIR

There’s SNOW MUCH TO READ this year at Baker’s Arctic Adventure Book Fair!  The book fair will be open from Friday, 9/27 – Friday 10/4.  Look for details regarding special events and volunteer signups in the coming weeks!  For questions or to become part of the book fair team, please contact Tracy Darby at tracyldarby@gmail.com.

GIFT WRAP CHAIR NEEDED

The annual Gift Wrap sale is in need of a chair for Roberts. The sale is slated to start September 23, and we need someone to distribute the catalogs to the main office, collect the orders at the end of the sale and help sort the orders when they come in. This can be done outside of regular work and school hours. If interested in finding out more about volunteering for this position, email Jackie Barnes jmestichelli@yahoo.com

SV HOME & SCHOOL MEETING

Please join us for our first Home & School meeting Tuesday, September 10 at 9:30 in the South Valley cafeteria. These meetings are a great way to keep informed of happenings at your school as well as in the school district.

 

STAFF WELCOME BACK BREAKFAST

SpEAC

Moorestown SpEAC is our Special Education Advocacy Council. We are parent-run organization that provides a forum to discuss important challenges facing our children in the schools and community and an off-board committee of Home & School. Our mission is to positively impact the education of all students, with an emphasis on those students needing or receiving special education services. If your
