LIVE CIVILLY AND MOOREKIDS AT THE COMMUNITY TREE LIGHTING 12/5
The Moorestown Community House will be hosting its fourth annual tree lighting on Monday, December 5, beginning at 5:30. Live Civilly and MooreKids will both be present with donation drives to benefit our local community: MooreKids’ Teen Leadership Committee (TLC) members will be collecting individually packaged shelf-stable breakfast food (granola bars, protein bars, apple sauce pouches, cracker packs) at the Tree Lighting. MooreKids’ breakfast buddies program provides food to every MTPS school for students who come to school without breakfast – the demand is huge! Please help us feed our own! For more information about MooreKids’ mission and programs, visit www.moorekids.org. Members from the Live Civilly Community Service Club want to help local families! Latrice (Grade 5) and Melissa and Samantha (grades 5 & 7) will be hosting collections at the Tree Lighting. Latrice will be collecting new and gently used winter coats and Samantha and Melissa will be collecting new toys. Live Civilly is a youth service organization that empowers young people to help their communities. For more information visit www.livecivilly.org.
