MOORESTOWN ROBOTICS CLUB INFORMATION MEETING
Moorestown Robotics will be having its last parent information session tonight. They are intended for parents only. All meeting will be held at the Moorestown Library.
If you have a child aged 6-9 come to our FLL session: May 13th, 6:30-7:20.
If you have a child aged 10-14 come to our FLL session: May 13th, 7:30-8:20.

MHS PROJECT GRADUATION – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – JUNE 20
Spots still available! Please sign up to volunteer…it’s a brief commitment (about 2-3 hours), it’s really fun and it’s a great way to send off our seniors! Please sign up here! 31 still needed for Sendoff (helping get the kids into the school after graduation ceremony, checked in and onto the buses)! 26 still needed for Site 1 (lots of food and fun, great interaction with the kids)!
SOUTH VALLEY & BAKER
South Valley and Baker Schools collecting GENTLY used SNEAKERS only beginning Friday May 24th until May 31st for the Max Cure Foundation, benefiting Pediatric Cancer.
CHANGE IN TIME TO FINAL H &S MEETING OF THE YEAR ON WEDS, MAY 22ND.
Due to state science testing, the meeting time will be 11am on Wednesday, May 22nd! Topics include changes to the 2019-2020 Community Service hours program and graduation information.
COMMUNITY SERVICE – DUNK YOUR KICKS FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER (MAY 20-24)
Send in your old sneakers (in pairs, tied or rubber-banded together) to help raise funds to support pediatric cancer research and treatment. No cleats, no holes in sole, no tears. All rubber soled shoes. Collection boxes in main lobby of WAMS. http://dunkyourkicks.org/ Thank you!
6th GRADE CELEBRATION- JUNE 17th- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The 6th Grade End of Year Celebration is Monday, June 17th and we need your help to make this a fun event for our 6th graders! Please consider volunteering for a station on the sign up here. Rain Date is June 18th. Any questions please reach out to Laurie LaMonica email@example.com
6th GRADE PARENTS! WANTED: PICTURES FOR THE 6TH GRADE SLIDE-SHOW
We are creating a slide-show for the 6th grade end of year celebration. We would like to all of 6th graders represented in it, so we need you help! Please send any pictures you have from UES events ONLY such as 1st day of school, field trips, class parties, Halloween, field day, the play, science fair, enrichment chorus and orchestra concerts, etc… for grades 4th through 6th. Please make sure the pictures are school related. Room parents- you are an excellent resource as well- send in those awesome pictures you have taken. Kindergarten screening will be held at Baker on May 13, 14, and 15. We are looking for several H&S volunteers to welcome the children, give tours, and answer questions. Please sign up here. Please consider helping us give a warm Baker welcome!
BAKER H&S MEETING
The next Baker H&S meeting will be held on Wednesday May 15th at 9:30am in the Baker Cafeteria. Please join us to learn more about the UES, as we will have a UES Administrator at the meeting.
We still have a number of chair positions available for H&S next year. Please consider volunteering your time and helping our school! We currently need chairs for the following roles next year: First Day Folders, Kindergarten Screening, Fundraising (Cookies), Field Day, Community Service, and Directory. If you are interested in learning more about these role or signing up to help, please contact Amy Hertz or Sylvia Wower.
ROBERTS KINDERGARTEN SCREENING
We are looking for volunteers to share their enthusiasm for Roberts with incoming Kindergarteners and their families. We will be greeting the new students and their families, telling them about our wonderful school, and giving them a tour of the building. The screenings will be held on May 15th and 16th. SV HOME & SCHOOL MEETING
Our final South Valley Home & School meeting will be held Tuesday, May 14 at 9:30 in the South Valley cafeteria. Please join us as many important year-end dates and activities will be discussed.
SV FIELD DAY
Field Day for our 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders will be held Friday, May 31st. Please help us make this a fun day for all the kids!! We need a lot of volunteers and some donations to make this a fun day for our children!! Please click here if you would like to help. OPEN SV H&S POSITIONS
We still are looking for volunteers to help with some Home & School positions next year. Please consider volunteering your time and helping our school! We currently need chairs for the following roles next year: Photographer, Apparel, Membership, Food for All Friday, Fingerprinting, Boosterthon, Cookie Fundraising, Picture Day, Garden Liaison, First Day Folders, Box Tops, and Coffee Social (First Day & Halloween). If you are interested in learning more about these roles or signing up to help, please contact Denya Miller.
Moorestown Special Education Advocacy Council (SpEAC) is now accepting nominations for Executive Committee positions for the 2019-2020 school year. Any member of SpEAC can nominate themselves (or someone else) to fill an open position. The following positions are open:
