CASINO NIGHT ADULT SOCIAL ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2
Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy a night of gambling and laughs with your friends and the Moorestown community and the chance to win prizes! Home & School is hosting a Casino Night Adult Social on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Laurel Creek Country Club at 7 pm. The ticket price of $60 includes dinner, 2 drinks tickets, $25 in gambling chips and one ticket for the prize raffle. Gamble the night away or simply purchase additional raffle tickets, so you can win some amazing prizes like a Nintendo Switch or Beatssolo3 wireless Headphones! There will also be a silent auction where you can bid on things such as High School graduation tickets and VIP parking, Senior Prom tickets, Principal for a day in the lower elementary schools, a limo ride and lunch with Mr. Keith and 5 friends and much more! SAVE THE DATE! CHICK-FIL-A RESTAURANT NIGHT – JANUARY 22
Enjoy a night off from cooking at Chic Fil A! Both Centerton Square and East Gate locations will be donating a percentage of their sales to Moorestown Home and School on Monday, January 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. when you mention this fundraiser. MIDTERMS SNACK SALE
The Vocational Transition Class at the high school will be selling snacks to students during mid-term exams, January 24 -26. We are looking for donations of water, candy, single serving snack bags, granola bars, fruit and any other food items. Proceeds from the sale will go to enhance the program for our students with multiple disabilities. We are actively accepting donations through Thursday, January 25. 5TH GRADE CARNIVAL
It’s that time of year for the 5th graders to have a little fun as a class and celebrate the new year together! The 5th grade Carnival will be held after school on Friday, January 26th in the UES gymnasium from 3-4:30. All 5th graders must be on the RSVP list to attend! Please RSVP for your child here. In order to make this event a success, Home & School relies on the generosity of time and donations from the parents. The Science Day Committee is looking for volunteers to assist our Science Presenters on Friday, February 9th, 2018! It is a great way to become involved in an exciting day for the students in which they truly look forward to each year! SV Home & School invites all SV families to a fun night of BINGO and giving! Prizes for all children! The cost of admission is a non-perishable FOOD DONATION that will be donated to the local food pantry. Bingo takes place on Thursday, January 25th from 6:30-7:30pm at the South Valley Cafeteria. NED SHOW ASSEMBLY YO-YOS
If your child is interested in purchasing a yoyo as seen in the NED SHOW assembly please return the form that was backpacked home or stop by the school lobby for purchase anytime between 3:00 – 3:30pm from Tuesday the 16th through Friday the 19th. This is a reminder to please have your child(ren) bring into school gently used books for our Book Swap scheduled on Thursday, February 1st and Friday, February 2nd. There are 2 large boxes located in the front vestibule for book donation drop-offs. If you have any questions, please contact Tammy Solitro.
