MOORESTOWN ROBOTICS – WE NEED COACHES!
Come out tonight, May 21st, at the Moorestown Library to learn all about becoming a coach for Moorestown Robotics. No engineering or robotics experienced required. Becoming a coach is the only way you can guarantee that your child will get on a robotics team. 6:30-7:20 for FLL Jr (kids age 6-9) and 7:30-8:20 for FLL (kids age 10-14). Applications for kids to be on a team is now open at http://www.moorestownrobotics.com/team-sign-up. Sign ups will be open until June 3rd. Children must register online to be considered for a team.

6th GRADE PARENTS! WANTED-PICTURES FOR THE 6TH GRADE SLIDESHOW
We are creating a slide show for the 6th grade end of year celebration. We would like to see all 6th graders represented in it, so we need your help. Please send any pictures you have from UES events such as 1st day of school, field trips, class parties, Halloween, field day, the play, science fair, enrichment, chorus and orchestra concerts, etc. for 4th-6th grade. Please note whether the pic is from 4th, 5th or 6th grade. Please make sure the pictures are school related. Room parents, you are great picture resources as well. You can share the pics and allow me to edit them via my google drive account at firstname.lastname@example.org. The file is UES 6th grade slide show.

SpEAC MEETING – MAY 24, 9:30 am
Moorestown Special Education Advocacy Council (SpEAC) will be having our last meeting of the school year this Thurs at 9:30am in the MHS Star Center. (Please sign in at the HS Main Entrance) Among other things we will be discussing the slate for 2018-2019. WE NEED YOUR HELP so that we may effectively represent and advocate for ALL of our students! Please consider taking on a more active role with SpEAC next year – the following positions remain open:
– WAMS representative
– UES representative
– South Valley representative
SpEAC’s Mission is to positively impact the education of all students, with an emphasis on those students needing or receiving special education services.
