The Baker community sends a big THANK YOU out to Amanda Skoumbourdis for organizing the 10th Annual Science Day on February 7th!  Amanda is a working mom who dedicated hours of her time to put this STEAM related event together. She collaborated with Rowan College of Burlington County on a special experience for our 3rd graders, organized presenters, signed up volunteers, and put together a welcoming a delicious lunch for all the presenters.  The event proved to be both educational and inspiring for our Baker Bears. Students, teachers, staff, and presenters enjoyed themselves throughout the day. Thank you Amanda!

Please remember to bring in your “Baker Bag” for the children and their siblings who stay at the House during their medical treatments. These surprise bags can brighten a child’s day while visiting at the hospital or staying at the House. Bring the finished bag to the Baker School lobby and place it beneath the Giving Tree. Bags can be sent in with your child any time between now and February 28, 2020. Information on this initiative was sent home with your child. Any further questions please reach out to Erin Cangelosi at erinecangelosi@gmail.com.
