Special thank you to Flagg’s Garden Center for generously loaning us all of the beautiful flowers, plants, pumpkins and fall decorations that were on display at every school entrance for Back to School Nights. Not only does Flagg’s allow us to borrow these beautiful items, but they deliver and pick up at every school – free of charge! Next time you stop in Flagg’s, please be sure to thank Patty for all of her work in making these arrangements and for their continued support of Moorestown Home & School.

STAFF APPRECIATION BREAKFAST – WEDS. OCT 16th

Home and School is happy to show our sincere appreciation to the wonderful teachers and staff at the High School.  We will be hosting a breakfast on Wednesday, October 16th from 7:30 am – 9:30 am.  Your donation and/or time is greatly appreciated. UES BOOK FAIR

A blizzard of books is headed your way, so venture deep into the ice-cold polar regions to the coolest reading expedition ever! The Arctic Adventure Scholastic Book Fair will be at the UES 10/14-10/18 with a special evening family event scheduled for Thursday, October 17th from 5-8pm. ROOM PARENTS NEEDED

Sixth Grade and Fourth Room Parents Volunteers still needed! THANK YOU!

To all our Baker Book Fair Volunteers…a heartfelt thank you to all of those that helped with our Arctic Adventure Book Fair!  Without your contributions to decorating, setup, browsing/buying assistance, GRAND Breakfast, Family Fun Night and breakdown help, we would never be able to be successful!  Thank you, as well, to all our parents, relatives and friends that supported our fair!  If you are interested in becoming more involved with the book fair or would like to become a chair next year, please contact Tracy Darby (tracyldarby@gmail.com).

 

RECESS RUNNERS

This awesome program that allows each child to get moving during their recess period every Tuesday and Thursday will be starting 10/1.  We are looking for parent volunteers for 30 minutes during their child’s recess period to help log the laps completed.  There are still some slots available. MEDIA VOLUNTEERS

Please consider signing up to volunteer with your child’s class during its regularly scheduled media special.  Volunteers will assist in shelving returned books and checking out new books.

NEW media volunteers are required to attend one of the following volunteer training sessions with Mrs. Ferruggia: October 7th at 2:30 a.m. OR October 14th at 2:30

MOOREKIDS 6th ANNUAL HALLOWEEN COSTUME SWAP

10/19 at the Moorestown Library (9:00-1:00) Donate your child’s old costume and/or pick up a “new” one. Drop off costumes at the library now or bring them on the 19th.
